Paraben 'Sh-meraben!!???

Today as Mamma was doing a demo at a store, she was chatting with a woman who had developed a very sever reaction to a paraben that was in a topical product she had used on her skin.  Her reaction had been so bad that she had been hospitalized.   It took many weeks for her to clear up the reaction to the paraben.  The woman was shopping for all products that were "paraben-free".
As many of you know, a paraben is a preservative that is used in many different products that we buy.  Its purpose is  to inhibit the growth of bacteria.  The most common parabens used are methylparaben, propylparaben and butylparaben.   It is common to have problem skin reactions to parabens ,preservatives, synthetic fragrance or a combination of these.   Remember to check your labels and remember that the highest concentration of anything in any product  is within the first few items in the  ingredients listing.  Click the link below to read more about parabens:

**Remember Mamma's products are paraben-free, synthetic fragrance-free and alcohol-free!  Mamma wants you to feel good! **
